What sets Cajun apart?
 

Most companies that install solar panels make many penetrations through your roof when installing the system. Here at Cajun Home Improvements, we install a metal seam standing seam roof under your panels, and the panels are mounted to the standing seam roof with S5 clamps and absolutely ZERO roof penetrations. This offers two major benefits. The first is that with no penetrations you do not have to worry about developing leaks in the future. The second benefit is, with a lifetime metal roof underneath your panels, that section of your roof will never have to be replaced which means your panels will never have to be removed and reinstalled!

Solar PV Modules

Solar PV systems consist of solar modules that convert the sun's energy into electricity. It is important to understand that not all solar PV modules are equal. The conversion from the sun's rays into electricity can vary dramatically by solar manufacturer. Here at Cajun we are offering two different brands to meet our customer's specific needs. We offer Sanyo and Schüco.

 

Inverters

Inverters are a critical component of your renewable energy solution because of their function to convert direct current (DC) electricity from either batteries or solar PV modules to alternating current (AC) that is used in your building or home.

Cajun Home Improvements offers solutions for both of these types of inverter categories: those designed to convert solar energy directly into AC without the use of storage batteries, and those designed to provide power from batteries, with the batteries being charged by any number of sources, including from solar PV systems. We accomplish this by offering three brands of inverters: Enphase, SMA, and PV Powered.

 

FusionSolar™

FusionSolar™ is a thin-film solar laminate for commercial and residential applications that’s integrated with standing seam metal roof panels. FusionSolar is bonded directly to the standing seam roof panels in the factory. The flexibility and durability of the laminate makes it ideal for metal roofs, where expansion, contraction and curving are considerations. No roof penetrations are required, and because the material is lightweight, no additional structural support is required. The benefits of FusionSolar are its a complete system, highly durable, has a fast return on investment, aesthetically designed, has no penetrations in the roof, highly efficient, environmentally safe, and has an outstanding warranty.

 

Solar Attic Fans

Engineered and designed using only the highest quality parts and materials, all Attic Breeze® solar attic fans and commercial ventilation products are manufactured with corrosion resistant zincalume alloy fan housings, as well as stainless steel brackets and hardware throughout.  Attic Breeze® never uses plastic which may degrade and crack over time when exposed to years of heat and UV radiation.  Attic Breeze® solar powered ventilation products also come standard with our proprietary commercial grade monocrystalline solar panel design.  This unique design uses high-strength impact resistant  tempered glass and offers better power output performance over a higher temperature range than products featuring either polycrystalline or "multicrystalline" solar panels.  This technology allows Attic Breeze® solar powered ventilation products to operate at high roof surface temperatures without the loss of rated power experienced by products with lesser quality solar panels.

Attic Breeze® solar attic fans are engineered to withstand harsh weather conditions and offer decades of durability.  Performance tested to intense wind load pressures, our solar attic fans are rated for hurricane force winds of over 170 MPH and designed to endure the most extreme weather conditions on the planet.  Third-party tested and independently certified for both Florida and Texas Windstorm approval, Attic Breeze® products are real world tested for the dependability you can trust.

Solar hot water is one of the most efficient ways to use solar power, and one of the easiest ways for customers to begin their solar energy use. Cajun Home Improvements will help you achieve cost-effective, fast return on investment from solar water heating products. Reliable and quick to install, modern solar thermal systems are an excellent addition to any solar, plumbing or HVAC business. Solar thermal is the collection, storage and use of heat from sunshine to generate hot water. It is one of the most efficient means of using solar energy. Two or three collectors can easily supply all the hot water for an average family on sunny days. Even on cloudy days, they can make a substantial contribution and cut utility bills.
